This September I was awarded Princess Grace Film Undergraduate Scholarship, Charles Evans Film Award. I was among six film students from the U.S. selected by the Princess Grace Foundation-USA to receive the Award. The award will be used towards the post-production costs of my thesis project “Back“.
The Princess Grace Foundation is a nonprofit organization that was founded 33 years ago by Prince Rainier III of Monaco to honor the legacy of his wife, Princess Grace Kelly, by supporting emerging artists in theater, dance, and film.
Here are some photos from the Ceremony, attended by Prince Albert II of Monaco. Filmmaker David Riker, actress Nilaja Sun, and dancer and choreographer Robert Battle presented the winners. All photos by Jerry Lacay.
