July 18, 2008 – Vilnius City Council approves detail planning of the lot as presented by UAB Rojaus Apartamentai and their intention to demolish cinema Lietuva.
The State property land that is assigned for cultural and public purpose is to be covered by construction of commercial buildings that erases public site in front of the cinema.
