October 2010, Cambridge, MIT Class: River Citizenship Devices                

Gediminas Urbonas ran a class of students at MIT considering the river in relation to citizenship.  Song Woo, for instance, made a waterwheel that could be walked in on the river. The wheel was made from brooms, plastic bottles and crates and manifested his research on the history of the Chinese community on the River Charles.
