Vilnius Vicinity Prosecutor refuses to defend the public interest in court. The decision states that there is no ground for the claim that privatization of cinema Lietuva resulted in a huge damage to public property. It adds that based on the request of citizen’s movement For Lithuania Without Quotation Marks the pre-­trial investigation as the part of the criminal case was started on the 18 of June, 2009 and the request to defend public interest will be addressed if the ground to defend the public interest is found.
